Omsai is a graduate in Forestry with a BSc Honors degree, demonstrates a resolute commitment to conservation. His industrial training at Maharashtra Forest Department's Bamboo Research and Training Centre refined his forestry skills. He contributed as a content creator at Pocharam Wildlife Sanctuary and engaged in various training to strengthen wildlife conservation efforts. His completion of courses in sandalwood, responsible tourism, and geo-informatics demonstrates his dedication to continuous learning. His involvement in initiatives like 'Youth for the Coast' and LCOY by yongo (UNFCC) shows his unwavering passion for addressing climate change and safeguarding ecosystems. Equipped with a robust foundation, practical experience, and unyielding enthusiasm, Omsai Shinde is poised to make meaningful contributions to sustainable endeavors and environmental welfare.

Achievements

• Secured 1st prize in online mobile photo contest 2022 organized by Mangrove foundation (Maharashtra Forest department.)

• Was leader of team Foricoss which was finalist for Youth Innovation Challenge 2022 organized by Red Dot Foundation and UNICEF India. 

• Been selected as a delegate to the Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) which was held at Nadiad, Gujarat. Session is based on Climate Change Adaptation and Loss & Damage

• Done research project on (To standardize the preservative techniques in D. Stocksii).
