3 Line Rush

Directions:

1. Three lines are set up along the baseline

2. #1 starts with the ball and dribbles full court for a lay-up 

3. As soon as he passes the block, x2 and x3 streak down the court and try to catch him.

4. As soon as #1 shoots the ball, he gets back on defense #2 and #3 come back on offense 2 on 1

Other Teaching Points:

• This drill works on finishing around the basket under duress, transition defense, and offensive spacing

• When transitioning back 2 on 1, the ball handler needs to make the defender commit to stopping the ball or helping on the cutter before making a decision

• The ball handler should attack the defense with their inside hand when going 2 on 1
