This drill is timed and there should be five minutes on the clock
Depending on how many players are at practice, you may have one line or two
There are five spots on the floor where shots will be taken from as indicated in the diagram
Each line has two basketballs and one player shoots at a time
After a player shoots, he should get his own rebound, pass the ball back to his line, and return to the end of his line
Each group has a goal to reach from each spot (generally, you have to make ten shots as a team from each spot)
After your line reaches your goal from a spot, you rotate one spot to your right and try to reach that same goal again
Scoring:
If your line reaches their goal from all five spots and does not exceed it, and no time remains, you are considered "even"
If your line fails to reach your goal, whatever number you fell short you are "minus" (for example, you got to the last spot and only made 8 as a line when your goal was 10, you are -2 as a group)
If your line reaches their goal from all five spots and time remains, you keep shooting and you are "plus" (for example, if you make 4 shots after you already reached your goal your group is +4)
Focus on being shot ready to simulate game-like shots
