"L" Cuts/Sweeps

Directions:

1. Baseline players pass the basketballs to the coach 

2. They make an “L” Cut - straight to the elbow and straight out 

3. The coach passes them back the ball 

4. They plant their outside foot on the catch, sweep the ball while making a reverse pivot, and attack baseline for a shot

Other Teaching Points:

• Mix up your moves by using a variety of finishes and pull-up jump shots (i.e. inside hand finish, pull-up J, reverse lay-up, jump shot, etc.)

• When driving to the rim, alternate lines so they don't crash into each other

• Be efficient with your movement and try to get to the basket in one dribble
