Duke Lay-Ups

Directions:

1. Two lines are set up - one on the wing and one at the top of the key

2. Basketballs are in the line at the top of the key

3. The player with the basketball takes one dribble and the wing cuts to the rim

4. The player with the basketball passes to the cutter for a lay-up

Other Teaching Points:

• Do this drill from both sides of the floor

• Work on various types of finishes

• Emphasize coming to a stop on the pass
