1 on 0 Post Moves

Directions:

1. One line is formed along the baseline and one player steps out to the block

2. A person has the ball on the wing and feeds the post

3. On a catch, the post player makes a move

4. Examples of post moves:

• Drop step, no dribble finish (middle or baseline)

• One dribble, drop step finish (middle or baseline)

• Baby hook shot

• Up and under

• Sikma

• Etc.

Other Teaching Points:

• Work on various post moves and finishes

• Do this drill from both sides of the floor

• Passer should deliver different types of passes to the post player

• Add a coach with a pad to give contact to the post player on the finish
