The career-related study of the CP Art and Design is in collaboration with Savannah College of Art and Design, an award winning University that offers numerous of high ranking degrees.
Students that are completing the CP Art and Design will enroll into Savannah College of Art and Design and take University foundation courses via e-learning. On successful completion of these University courses students will attain University credits.

In addition to the DP courses, students are earning 25 University credits by completing 5 University courses from Savannah College of Art and Design, which are sequenced in the following possible academic pathways:

Students will have access to our immersive academic resources to ensure success throughout the extent of the program. Students will have the opportunity to connect with SCAD faculty, enjoy weekly virtual events, and gain experience working with like-minded artists and designers, all while expanding their network of creatives. Course tracks include both general foundation-level options and SCAD degree program pathways like advertising and branding, photography, and game development.
Out of the 10 IBCP pathway tracks, seven of the pathways can be transitioned into one of the 29 STEM programs at SCAD and the remaining three pathways can transition into Non-STEM programs. All IBCP students are also eligible for a 50% tuition grant for the program—which will be automatically reviewed during the application process.
Acceptance into the IBCP program does not guarantee admission into the undergraduate program at SCAD. Students who successfully complete the IBCP provisions will need to apply for admission to the undergraduate programme and complete the regular admission process. Students will be reviewed for academic and achievement scholarship opportunities. Upon acceptance (if applicable), the 25 college credits successfully completed during the CP program will transfer to SCAD enabling advanced placement for the IBCP students. SCAD students may study at any or all of the university’s global locations and learning modalities—Atlanta, Savannah, Lacoste, and eLearning through SCADnow.
Students are also able to consider applying to others universities around the world and should check with the Admissions Office at each individual university for their specific entry requirements.
This challenging four-week program awards college credit to rising high school seniors who are ready for a university experience. Students enroll in two college-level classes and have the opportunity to build or enhance their portfolios.
All SCAD Rising Star students gain one-on-one guidance from renowned instructors, experience working with like-minded artists and designers, and access to professional software packages, including Adobe Creative Cloud.
Students participating in the SCAD Rising Star residential program live in a SCAD residence hall and enjoy meals at a SCAD dining hall. They are immersed in life at The University for Creative Careers and have the opportunity to explore the rich culture of Savannah and Atlanta — during a summer creating lifelong connections.
