La torre Pimentel, o antes llamada torre de los Molinos, es una torre de defensa de la costa del Reino de Granada hecha por los nazaríes en 1300. Además de defender la costa de Málaga, también defendió los molinos de harina y manantiales que había en Torremolinos. Más adelante se le llamó torre de Pimentel en recuerdo a un militar que ayudó a los Reyes Católicos. Para llegar a ella hay que pasar por la calle San Miguel y la cuesta del Tajo en dirección a la playa. Esta Torre dio el nombre al municipio en el que está, que es uno de los más poblados y de los que mayor número de turistas tiene en la Costa del Sol. En el mapa del Marqués de la Ensenada aparece el nombre "Torre Molinos" dando nombre a la villa de pescadores que tiene el municipio malagueño.
