Parque de la Batería
El Parque de La Batería es, con su privilegiada posición que mira al mar, uno de los pulmones de Torremolinos. El perfecto lugar para desconectar, olvidarse de asfalto y disfrutar de la naturaleza sin salir de la ciudad. Ubicado al norte de La Carihuela y junto a la parada de tren de Montemar Alto, el parque de La Batería cuenta con más de 74.000 metros cuadrados para el ocio, la práctica deportiva y la diversión familiar. Tiene más de un millar de árboles, de 25 especies distintas.
Parque de La Batería is, with its privileged position overlooking the sea, one of the lungs of Torremolinos. The perfect place to disconnect, forget about asphalt and enjoy nature without leaving the city. Located to the north of La Carihuela and next to the Montemar Alto train station, La Batería park has more than 74,000 square meters for leisure, sports and family fun. It has more than a thousand trees, of 25 different species.
HORARIO Y CÓMO LLEGAR
El Parque de la Batería abre sus puertas desde las 9 de la mañana hasta las 8 de la tarde en los meses de invierno.
En los meses de verano el horario cambia de domingo a jueves de 9.00 a 14.00, cerrando en las horas de más calor, y de 17.00 hasta las 23.00 horas.
Los viernes y sábados permanece abierto hasta las 12 de la noche.
Por otra parte, el horario de las barcas del lago, así como el carrusel es de de 16.00 a 19.00 horas y los fines de semana y festivos de 12.00 a 14.00 horas y de 16.00 hasta las 19.00 horas.

The Parque de la Batería opens its doors from 9 in the morning to 8 in the evening in the winter months.
In the summer months the schedule changes from Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., closing in the hottest hours, and from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
On Fridays and Saturdays they remain open until 12 at night.
On the other hand, the hours of the boats on the lake, as well as the carousel, are from 4:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on weekends and holidays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

JUEGOS
El parque de la batería tiene un gran parque infantil donde los niños pueden jugar. Este parque es accesible desde niños de 3 años hasta niños de 12, además los más pequeños cuentan con una zona aparte para evitar que los más mayores puedan hacerles daño al correr.

TIOVIVO
El tiovivo de el Parque de la Batería, destaca entre otros porque contiene más de 50 figuras de jirafas, caballitos y carrozas, además, este tiovivo es de estilo veneciano.
El paseo cuesta 0.5 euros y es muy entretenido para niños pequeños.

ESTATUAS
En los alrededores de el parque podemos encontrar una gran variedad de esculturas, decoraciones, casas y fuentes, que hacen que todo el parque se vea estéticamente mucho mejor. En las fuentes, la gente suele tirar algunas monedas y pedir un deseo.

LAGO
Hay un gran lago artificial de más de 9000 m² con un agua turquesa. Este tiene una estatua del dios Neptuno en el centro del lago que te acompañará en tu visita mientras disfrutas de un paseo en barca a tan solo 1€ gracias al servicio de alquiler de barquitas que hay. Las barquitas sólo están abiertas viernes, sábados y festivos.
There is a large artificial lake of more than 9000 m² with a turquoise water. This has a statue of the god Neptune in the center of the lake that will accompany you on your visit while you enjoy a boat ride at only € 1 thanks to the boat rental service there. The boats are only open on Fridays, Saturdays and holidays.
TORRE
La torre mirador del parque, es pequeña y moderna, mide sobre unos quince metros de altura y su principal utilidad es para disfrutar de las asombrosas vistas que nos ofrece de Torremolinos y de la playa, además tiene un ascensor en su interir para facilitar el acceso.
The lookout tower of the park, is small and modern, measures about fifteen meters high and its main utility is to enjoy the amazing views it offers us of Torremolinos and the beach, it also has an elevator in its interior to facilitate access.
CAÑONES
El parque tiene una gran historia, su nombre viene de la antigua batería defensiva que se encontraba en estas zonas de la costa y protegía la ciudad en diferentes etapas de la historia de Torremolinos de los ataques.
Por ello en el parque se encuentran tres cañones de artillería, dos bunkers subterráneos y un pasadizo.

CONCIERTOS
Hace poco el parque inauguró una nueva zona de césped artificial y bancos en la que hacer conciertos, teatros, festivales de música, animaciones... Lo mejor es que es al aire libre y gratis.

DEPORTE
En este parque, hay una increible red de senderos de 70000m2 con cinco zonas distintas de deporte para entrenar en el medioambiente que podran utilizar todas las personas mayores de 14.
