LEARNING MOBILITY E-JOURNAL AND VLOGS
From Alicante airport, our journey took us to Rome, where we wondered at its historic monuments. Then, by train, we headed to Foggia, where we were warmly welcomed by our host families. We explored the Italian countryside and shared laughter and traditional dishes on an unforgettable evening. It was a day of discoveries, meaningful encounters, and genuine Italian hospitality, leaving us with unforgettable memories.
We woke up in Foggia excited for a Sunday ahead. Each of us, with our respective companions, dispersed throughout the city to enjoy different activities. Some watched football in a local bar, others strolled through the city’s picturesque corners, and some attended a nearby karting race. After the morning activities, we gathered at our friends’ homes for a homemade lunch and shared stories. Later, some went shopping at a nearby mall and found a cute plush toy as a souvenir, while others continued exploring the city with their new friends. It was a Sunday filled with fun in the city of Foggia.
In the morning, we were welcomed at the Italian high school, Liceo Carolina Poerio. Later, we gave a presentation about Baza and our school and learnt about the German, Slovenian and Spanish schools participating in the exchange. We also took part in a treasure hunt and they offered us a small feast with typical Italian food.
In the afternoon, we watched a movie and went to the mall to make a kahoot and see the stores. The families bought typical food and we went to watch a basketball game.
On the fourth day of our exchange, we got up very early to go on an excursion, after a long bus ride, we arrived at our destination, it was a castle called Castel del Monte. It was really beautiful inside and we had a great time. After the visit, we played Spanish music to the Italians.
Later, we went to Alberobello, a charming town; the houses were very different but beautiful and after a few stops where we had fun and bought some food, we got back to Foggia. An unforgettable day and an unforgettable trip.
The Erasmus day in Foggia started with a fun activity: in groups of four, we created and played Kahoots about the different schools we visited. Afterwards, we went to a nearby park where we enjoyed an outdoor picnic. We ate, danced to the music and, after all that movement, many of us took a nap under the shade of the trees.
In the afternoon, we organised a volleyball competition with mixed teams. It was great fun and we all cheered each other on, creating a festive atmosphere. In the evening, the students from Baza and their Erasmus twins went out for dinner together. The evening was full of laughter and jokes, ending the day in a perfect way and with new friends.
In the morning we were at the school taking part in a debate about “Living in a digital age”, then the winners of the logo contest were announced and we went to the ICT classroom. In the afternoon some were in the shopping center and others in the city center.
In the morning we went to Vieste, a wonderful coastal town. We were on the beach and ate some very good ice creams. When we returned to Foggia we said goodbye to our Sevillian, Italian, German and Slovenian friends. Afterwards we went home feeling sad because it was the last day in Foggia.
Classes on Saturday!! Belive it or not, in Italy students go to school on Saturdays.
Awesome!!!
