POLONIA 2023

Monday, 27TH March

The trip started at 4:30 am, we arrived at the airport at 7:00 and the flight left at 10:30 after that we arrived in Warsaw at 2:00 pm.

The trip from Warsaw to Grudziądz lasted 4 hours and in the middle of the trip we rested at McDonalds and we saw a castle . When we arrived at the hotel at 8 pm we rested and we went to have dinner.

Tuesday, 28th March

First, on the second day of our trip we met the hosts and we saw the main tourist places of the city. Next we went to the high-school where we learnt about Polish schools and Polish culture.

We talked about the similarities between their school and our school. In the afternoon we stayed at the hotel and we spent a little time with our Polish friends and finally at night we ate at a kebabs restaurant.

Wednesday, 29th March

In the morning, at 8:20, we hopped on the train to visit Torun, the city where Copernicus was born. We went to the Copernicus Museum.

All the buildings were really beautiful and colourful, the streets were very clean too.

During the guided tour , we visited some churches. These churches were big and beautiful.

At 2:30, we hopped on the train to return to Grudziądz.

Torun is very beautiful because it wasn’t destroyed in World War II.

Friday, 31st March

We woke up early and we attended English lessons. After that we and our Polish friends went to the train station. First we took a train Toruń and another train to Warsaw. When we arrived in Warsaw we took the tram to the hotel. At night we went to eat a kebab , and after that we finally went to sleep.

saturday, 1st April

We got up early to visit Warsaw then we took a train to get to the airport where we were waiting for a long time because the flight was delayed, we arrived in Alicante at 10 and we took a bus to get to Baza.
