Hundreds of workers gather at the gates of the factory looking for an employment. They do not only come from the city, some of them come from the countryside. There is no future in the countryside.

New factories are opened. Would you accept this kind of work?

This film is "Modern Times" (1936), by Charles Chaplin. It is about the II Industrial Revolution in the USA, but the situation is very similar to that of the I Industrial Revolution in England.

Pay attention to this scene.

En este proyecto, vas meterte en la piel de alguien que vivió una REVOLUCIÓN INDUSTRIAL, los había poderosos, explotados, marginados y algunos que se tenían que buscar la vida en este selva que era la nueva ciudad industrial.

Además, vamos a conocer qué inventos y descubrimientos se hicieron y que cambiaron completamente el mundo hasta hoy día.
