Metodology

MetodologyThey have to make a sculpture (abstract or figurative) with those objects we find in nature.

To understand this, we are going to introduce them in those artistic movements, by seeing presentations, and showing them many examples of artists that follow that way of art.

Also they will learn about Antonio Gaudí ,main spanish modernist architect, who built “Park Guell” modifying nature to make his construction. He used to say “ I like to work with nature not against it”.

In “La Sagrada Familia “ we also find the simulation of a forest on the inside of the church.

Also we give them lessons about materials, and how many of the pigments we use to paint, comes from stones and minerals, and how primitive cultures used them from the beginning as a way of communicating feelings or with a religious meaning.

Everything is explained by images, videos and presentations for them to understand how primitive art, environment, architecture and new ways of artistic expression are closely connected.
