Class Description

6th graders will use the Envision Mathematics curriculum. This is an online textbook that students can access with their Pearson usernames and passwords here! (Once I have Log-in Info, it will be linked here).

This year in math, students will be learning about Order of Operations with Rational Numbers, Prime Factorization, Multiplying and Dividing Fractions, Multiplying and Dividing Decimals, Surface Area, Volume and Area of Quadrilaterals, Determining Probability of an event, and Angles of Polygons.

Students should also have notes on what we've talked about in class.

Under the distance learning tab, students will find the video that will go over the lesson for each day. Students should follow along and write notes along with me as I walk through the lesson.

Students need to retest on any learning target that they get less than a 3 on. To retest, students will need to go to the Retest tab under Distance Learning. For each unit, the practice and homework assignments will be linked and the retest will be linked where t
