Vocational Education
Vocational Education includes the preparation of an individual to obtain temporary employment and/or long term employment.
Lessons and programs will include related skills tailored towards the interest of the individual based on attitude and aptitude assessments.
Our providers will help prepare individuals to be able to have a positive attitudes and have the self confidence in order to project vocational competency.
At the end of the program, an individual will be able to locate, secure and retain employment in the community or within a sheltered environment so that they may becoming participating members of the community and productive members of society.
Our providers also provide instruction to job trainers and employers to help navigate the unique needs of the individual and help create systems for them to be able to self monitor.
Career Development
Career Development includes the preparation of an individual to obtain a post secondary education and/or obtain a college degree or vocational certification.
Lessons and programs will include related skills tailored towards the interest of the individual based on attitude and aptitude assessments.
Our providers will help prepare individuals to be able to have a correct schedule of classes so that coursework can be completed in a timely manner and be knowledge in order advocate for themselves in the high education setting.
At the end of the program, an individual will be able to locate, apply and obtain acceptance into a college or vocational program so that they may be able to start completing classes in their schedule towards earning their degree or certification.
Our providers also inform school, staff and teachers of the unique needs of the individual and help provide suggestions for accommodations as needed.
Independent Living
Independent Living includes the preparation of an individual to either live on their own, live with a roommate or living in an independent living facility.
Lessons and programs will include related skills tailored towards the interest of the individual based on attitude and aptitude assessments.
Our providers will help prepare individuals for the exceptions of living on their own or with others as an adult, prepare them to be mindful of own their self interests and the interest of others while also still being able to advocate for themselves in a cohabitated situation.
At the end of the program, an individual will be able to meet the standards of living on their own or be able to commingle with a roommate so that they may be able to have the ability to have continuous shelter over their heads.
Our providers also inform roommates and independent living facilities of the unique needs of the individual and help provide suggestions for accommodations as needed.
