Hi! My husband Dave and I have five children, three of whom attend Idaho Arts. two in elementary and one in secondary. We’ve only been a part of this school since the end of the 2025 school year but we love being part of this vibrant school community. We have seen firsthand the amazing work the PTO does and are looking forward to contributing to the school in any way we can. I joined the board this year to support our teachers and kids as well as help the schools in anyway we can.

Mark Rudd - Committee Member
Hi, I'm Mark, last year's Event Coordinator. This is my second year serving on the IACS PTO Board. I had a ton of fun helping out with last year's Fall festival and the other events throughout the school year. I'm a single dad of a 7th grader. We love hiking, biking, playing games together, and hanging out with our big, wonderful church family, especially when we get the chance to help others in the community. If you see me around, please don't hesitate to say hi.
Monica Puga - Teacher Liaison
This year marks my 30th year as a teacher, and I’m so grateful for the journey it’s been! Although I’ve taught various grades over the years, I discovered my true home in kindergarten 14 years ago. What started with a bit of nervousness quickly turned into a deep love for helping our youngest learners grow, explore, and shine.
Outside the classroom, I’m a proud mom of three. My two oldest are finishing their graduate studies to also enter the field of education — my daughter is becoming a speech and language pathologist, and my son plans to teach high school history. My youngest is currently a junior in high school.
In addition to teaching, I coach cheerleading at Wilder High School, which lets me share my love of school spirit and teamwork with our older students. I also enjoy learning sign language and singing along with my kindergarteners each morning as we review concepts through song.
Lori Larson - Teacher Liaison
I have been teaching for 16 years.

I am a huge football fan. I love my Boise State Broncos!
I love to home can foods and have a well stocked pantry of soups, beans, sauces, fruits, and vegetables.
Curling up with a good book is a favorite pastime of mine
I love live music and have watched more bands perform live than I could ever count.

Hi there, friends! My name is Amber Tjaden & I began my IACS journey a decade ago. Our youngest daughter started kindergarten at the brand new Primary Campus & our oldest started 4th at the Secondary. 10 years later, my hubby of 23 yrs, Mike, & I, have a high school Freshman here & an IACS Class of '25 graduate attending BSU!
I began volunteering decade ago in our daughters' classes & love being on PTO now! As a parent & staff member, I appreciate able to bridge the gap between the 2 & help everyone work together for the greater good: to support & encourage one another within our Idaho Arts Charter School family❤️
Christina Knutson - Committee Member
Hi everyone! I'm excited to be part of IACS PTO. I'm someone who finds peace and inspiration in nature — it's my favorite way to recharge and reconnect. I have a wonderful family that includes two amazing children and a few beloved pets who definitely keep life interesting! By day, I work as an administrative assistant, and I'm also a student continuing my journey of growth and learning. I have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and love exploring new ideas and opportunities whenever I can. I joined this group because my son is now in first grade — it’s been amazing watching him grow since kindergarten, attending IACS. I'm looking forward to being more involved in his school community and connecting with other parents along the way. Looking forward to learning, sharing, and growing with you all!

My name is Rebecca, and I’m the proud mom of a 3rd grader and a 1st grader here at Idaho Arts Charter. My husband and I grew up in Idaho, and we moved our family to Nampa in 2020. When Centennial Elementary closed in 2023, we joined the Idaho Arts community and have been so impressed with what the school provides for our kids. I love being hands-on in their education and helping with events that bring people together, so I’m looking forward to contributing through the PTO.
