THAO T.P DAO'S BIOGRAPHY

• An ENT specialist (Thong Nhat Hospital, HCMC) with a master’s degree in Otorhinolaryngology, Dr. Thao fuels her curiosity by merging medicine with cutting-edge technology. Driven to advanced healthcare, she earned a second Master's degree in Computer Science and is now pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Science, VNU HCM.

• Her research focuses on AI applications across diverse medical fields, including otolaryngology, radiology, gastroenterology, obstetrics, etc., for diagnostics, treatment, and prognosis.

• The review article "Artificial Intelligence for Laryngoscopy in Vocal Fold Diseases: A Review of Dataset, Technology, and Ethics" has been accepted for publication in Machine Learning in July 2024.

• The paper  “Improving Laryngoscopy Image Analysis through Integration of Global Information and Local Features in VoFoCD Dataset” was published in the Journal of Imaging Informatics in Medicine in May 2024.
