All technology devices issued to students are owned by and are the property of ICSN and are intended for educational purposes only. Using a technology device for any purpose other than educational use may result in consequences, including loss of device privileges or other consequences as allowed by the Student Handbook. If a student violates any of the policies in this document, he/she will be subject to disciplinary action following the guidelines in the student handbook, or at the discretion of the school administration. This may include restricted access to school devices and the school network.
TECHNOLOGY DEVICE CARE
Students must:
Ensure that the device is away from direct sunlight, food or drinks, and other harmful environments that can damage the device.
Protect the screen at all times. Put the device away from sharp objects or anything that could put pressure on it.
Students must not:
Leave their devices anywhere unsupervised on the campus
Place any writing, stickers, or labels on the technology device
Remove any stickers or labels put in place by the school
Reconfigure the hardware of the device in any way
Use a device that can be physically harmful
