Online Teaching

Teachers are expected to log in to all of their timetabled lessons, unless they are on sick leave.

You should use the appropriate Google Meet link, which can be found on each student timetable on the Student Nexus. The same link should work for all lessons run by that teacher. Please let James and Svetlana know about any problems.

Registration needs to be taken at the start of each lesson, as usual. Authentication is needed for home login into iSAMS. See the link below for setting up authentication. Please email your lesson attendance to Sally and James if you are having trouble.

Guidance for setting up iSAMS authorisation at home

Each lesson can be primarily teacher-led or task-based, depending on the needs of the class. Please make sure you are  available online if the students are working on independent tasks.

Google Classroom and Managebac are both useful platforms for setting and collecting student work. Please ensure that homework and assessments are set on Managebac as usual. Do also be aware that classes will often progress more slowly during online lessons.
