Topic 5.1 - Outreach: Building Support

Introduction: “No margin, no ministry.” Without support, seafarers’ welfare ministries cannot operate. Yet, finding new and continued support continues to be one of the most challenging aspects of seafarers’ ministry. Organizations are under constant stress to raise new money. This lesson will consider some basic ideas about how to market maritime ministry, but also give some tools to telling supporters and potential supporters about your work.
