MAKEY-MAKEY WORKSHOP

Attend an official Makey-Makey workshop and experience the Invention Kit for Beginners and Experts doing art, engineering and everything in between. Learn how to help you and your students - the tinkers, dreamers and makers - use innovation and creativity. Find out how hardware engineering can solve real world design challenges. Visit the Makey-Makey site, checkout the educator's guide and get your creative juices flowing. Hope to see you October 20.

Microsoft Innovative Educator Workshop

Learn about the Microsoft Educator Community and How to Become a Certified

Microsoft Innovative Educator. Join us at the Microsoft Store at Oakbrook Center to learn about the Microsoft Educator Community! This FREE resource is made by teachers, for teachers, that help educators innovate their classrooms with Microsoft tools and applications. We’ll show you how to navigate the Educator Community, browse through lesson plans and resources and show you how you can earn your badges to become a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator at the Microsft Store store.

ICE-COLD is a chapter of Illinois Computing Educators (ICE), serving the western suburbs of the Chicago area.

ICE is the largest organization in the state devoted to the use of technology in education and is an organizational affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). For the past 31 years, our nonprofit member organization has played a vital role in supporting the integration of technology in education.
