The week of October 26-30 is Red Ribbon Week! This is a week to raise awareness about drug abuse. We asked Mr. Harbin what this week was all about. “Red Ribbon Week is all about trying to prevent drug use,” he said. Drugs can do lots of terrible things to you, and they’re very easy to get addicted to. Why is Red Ribbon Week important? He replied, “It’s important to talk about the effect drugs have on people. They can take you down a horrible path and ruin your life.” Drugs are a very dangerous thing to do, and they can lead to all sorts of problems. Red Ribbon Week is a very good way to help people who are struggling or have struggled with drugs in the past.
