Have you ever thought about having a choir class during a pandemic, well our choir teacher Mrs. Fyock has. Mrs. Fyock teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choir. She cares about each one of her students. She told us “I feel very restricted and so do my students, we are wearing masks while we sing but still don't sing a lot, instead we are learning about famous composers and American pop cultures.”
Mrs. Fyock’s favorite thing to do in choir is to watch her students perform, but sadly this year she can’t. She explained to us that “We can't have choir concerts which is truly sad, my greatest achievement is watching my students perform, but it’s also a challenge not having choir concerts because that doesn’t give us music to work on instead they take tests and learn about the past music composers.” Hopefully next year we will be able to do performances.
