Teaching a band can be difficult during these times of Covid-19, but the band knows how to make it work! We spoke with Ms. Hughes about teaching this year. She said “Teaching a band can be difficult at this time. We have lots of wind instruments so it causes more germs to spread.”
She states that they will be having concerts this year when the state says so. She will also be live streaming concerts for people to watch at home. She said her students miss the old ways of doing band but they still enjoy it.
She said that “I have had a huge decrease in students this year due to Covid-19.” Now you know all that jazz about this years middle school band teacher Ms. Hughes.
We can't wait to (hopefully) attend a concert this year!
