I am Faryal Shamsi, a dedicated educator, researcher, and mentor with over 18 years of experience in academia and the technology industry. Currently, I serve as a Lecturer in Computer Science (BPS-18) at Sukkur IBA University, where I have been teaching and inspiring students for more than six years. My expertise lies in Compiler Construction, Automata Theory, Artificial Intelligence, and Video Summarization research, with a strong passion for bridging foundational computer science with modern AI applications.

I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science from Sukkur IBA University, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science. My doctoral research focuses on innovative approaches to video summarization and AI-driven content analysis, where I aim to contribute meaningful advancements in the field.

Before joining Sukkur IBA University, I worked for 12 years at Sistech Sukkur, gaining valuable industry experience in program management, corporate training, and technology-driven projects. This professional background enables me to bring real-world perspectives into my teaching and research.

Beyond academics, I am passionate about mentoring struggling students, making complex subjects easier to understand, and motivating learners to reach their potential. My teaching philosophy centers around clarity, accessibility, and encouragement, ensuring that no student is left behind.
