Welcome!!

I am so happy you are a part of my class this year! Here is a little about myself. 

I grew up in this community where I attended school at the Illini Bluffs School. After graduating high school, I continued my education at Illinois Central College and then at Bradley University where I studied Elementary Education. I have been a teacher for about 12 years. 

My husband and I have two children Jepson and Charlotte (Charley) who keep us on our toes! I can't forget my fur baby Izzy, our family dog.  One of my favorite things to do is be with my family.  Some of my hobbies include being outdoors, reading, and being with my family. Also, I have a love for food and coffee. 

One of the reasons I become a teacher was to teach students to believe in themselves. This year is going to be a great year!
