Yunwen Bai serves as Vice President of the Institute of Finance and Sustainability (IFS). She brings over 20 years of experience in climate and energy finance and sustainable investment, having led and participated in numerous domestic and international collaborative projects to advance sustainability. Her recent focus is on advancing research and financing pilots in nature and biodiversity finance. She currently heads the Task Force on Biodiversity Finance under the China Green Finance Committee of the China Finance Academy, as well as the Task Force on Nature Finance of the China-UK Green Finance Dialogue. In these roles, she provides policy research on taxonomy, nature-related risk management and disclosure, and supports financial institutions in implementation. She also serves as a financial expert for technical assistance programs of multilateral development banks (MDBs), and as an expert member of the National Technical Committee on Financial Standardization. Since 2021, she has chaired the China-Brazil High-Level Dialogue on Financial Support green agricultural Cooperation for four consecutive years.
