Professional Development Network

Our Purpose and Mission

The purpose of the IAHPERD Professional Development Network is to provide high quality professional development for the Health, Physical Education, Adapted and Dance teachers of Illinois by the Health, Physical Education, Adapted and Dance teachers of Illinois.

Working directly with schools, school districts, and Regional Offices of Education, we provide customizable professional development opportunities tailored to the specific needs of the organization we are working with. Our Professional Development Champions are Teachers of the Year award winners, leaders in their respective fields, experts in their content area and veterans of presenting at workshops, institute days and conventions.

IAHPERD Professional Development Offerings

IAHPERD is committed to providing High Quality Professional Development to Illinois schools, school districts and ROEs. As such, we have worked hard to secure the most dynamic and high quality HPE presenters available in the state of Illinois. They are organized by approximate grade levels, though most topics can be customized to specific grade levels as desired.
