The K-1 fiancé(e) visa allows the foreign fiancé of a U.S. citizen to come to the U.S. and get married within 90 days. It is a non-immigrant visa, which means it allows for a temporary stay in the U.S., not permanent residency.
The CR-1 visa is a conditional resident immigrant visa for a foreign-born spouse of a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident, issued when the marriage is less than two years old. This visa grants conditional permanent residency, allowing the foreign spouse to enter the U.S. and live with the spouse.
