Work-Based Learning

WBL has helped me prepare for my future by handling multiple things at once. And for seniors most of us have jobs and it is so nice to be able to do this during school because it won’t cut down your hours.

The WBL program is awesome. It has helped me and some of my closest friends learn more about the career we are working in and more about what we do and what we don’t enjoy about them. My favorite part is learning how to perform the jobs that I see every day while at the same time getting school credits for doing them.

I have been able to work through the school day & gain experience for my future career. I love being able to get credit & make money at the same time!! 

I liked work based learning because it helped me get hands on experience in the workplace while earning money and getting school credit. The hours are very doable if you have things like sports and other classes to get done. Overall it was a very positive experience. It can help show you what you want to do after high school and better yet what you don’t want to do.

I like that I can get out of school early to gain experience in my future career and start saving up for my future.

This program is a great way for students to get a true taste of the workforce as well as explore potential career paths. The program has allowed me to learn so much about the industry I love while also gaining credit through the school for doing so!
