Croeso i Ysgol Gynradd Pillgwenlly
Hello everyone, I have had the privilege of working at Pillgwenlly Primary School for 18 years and for the last eight years I have been a member of the Senior Leadership Team. During my time here at Pillgwenlly Primary I have had the pleasure of teaching in both Key Stage Two and Foundation Phase, in most of the year groups.ย
Currently I am Phase Leader for Years One and Two, The Pod & Seren, which is our Learning Resource Base. I am also the Additional Learning Needs Coordinator and I lead Health & Wellbeing throughout the school.ย
For the last three years I have been working with the South East Wales Consortium within the Additional Learning Needs Transformation Team, supporting schools with the new ALN reforms.ย ย I am also a cluster lead ALNCo for schools within The John Frost cluster.ย
I enjoy the diversity, excitement and challenges that every day brings in our school. I am passionate about children's wellbeing and promoting an inclusive environment where all children can flourish.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, Kickboxing and singing in a choir. I also enjoy dining out, going to the theatre, festivals and watching live bands.
