Croeso i Ysgol Gynradd Pillgwenlly
Hello everyone, I have been a Teacher for 10 years and have had the privilege of working at Pillgwenlly Primary for the last five years in both Foundation Phase and Key Stage Two. I currently teach in Year Five which has been a new challenge, but I am thoroughly enjoying it! I am passionate about children's wellbeing and learning through hands on, practical experiences and am currently helping innovate the new STEM curriculum.
I have also been involved in Scouting for the last 19 years and my current roles include Beaver Leader at 6th Newport Scout Group, Group Scout Leader at Pillgwenlly Scout Group & Assistant District Commissioner for Inclusion.
When I am not teaching or scouting, you can usually find me watching Netflix and eating chocolate with my friends, or spending time with my Mum and my dog Bruno.
