Beth fydda i’n ei ddysgu?

Byddi di’n archwilio byd esblygol technoleg ddigidol ac yn datblygu sgiliau gwerthfawr fel:

• Deall sut mae systemau digidol yn gweithio, o ddata i gyfathrebu.

• Defnyddio meddalwedd i ddadansoddi a chyflwyno data’n effeithiol.

• Creu gwefannau, gemau, neu animeiddiadau wedi’u teilwra i gyd-destunau’r byd go iawn, gan ddefnyddio meddalwedd Adobe.

• Datblygu strategaethau marchnata ar gyfer asedau digidol gan ddefnyddio’r cyfryngau cymdeithasol i greu hysbyseb.

Mae’r cwrs hwn hefyd yn archwilio’r effeithiau cymdeithasol, economaidd ac amgylcheddol technoleg digidol.

Sut fydda i’n dysgu?

Mae’r cwrs yn cyfuno gweithgareddau ymarferol ac astudiaethau damcaniaethol:

• Uned 1: Dysgu am systemau technoleg ddigidol trwy arholiad ar sgrin (1.5 awr).

• Uned 2: Creu cynhyrchion digidol fel gwefannau neu animeiddiadau mewn tasgau asesu ymarferol.

• Uned 3: Datblygu ymgyrch farchnata gan ddefnyddio asedau digidol mewn tasg asesu arall.

Byddwch yn cymryd rhan mewn prosiectau annibynnol, heriau tîm, a gwersi strwythuredig i baratoi ar gyfer asesu.

Oes angen offer arnaf fi?

I lwyddo yn y pwnc hwn, bydd angen:

• Mynediad i gyfrifiadur neu liniadur ar gyfer creu cynhyrchion digidol ac ymarfer sgiliau.

• Meddalwedd ar gyfer taenlenni, datblygu gwefannau, a chreu amlgyfrwng.

Sut fydda i’n cael fy asesu?

Rhennir yr asesu’n dair prif elfen:

1. Uned 1: Y Byd Digidol (40%)

   • Arholiad ar sgrin 1.5 awr.

2. Uned 2: Arferion Digidol (40%)

   • Asesiad heb arholiad sy’n cynnwys creu cynnyrch digidol (e.e., gwefan neu animeiddiad).

3. Uned 3: Cyfathrebu yn y Byd Digidol (20%)

   • Asesiad heb arholiad sy’n canolbwyntio ar greu a marchnata asedau digidol.

What will I learn?

This course also examines the social, economic, and environmental impacts of digital technology.

How will I learn?

The course combines hands-on activities and theoretical learning:

• Unit 1: Learn about digital technology systems through a 1.5-hour on-screen exam.

• Unit 2: Create digital products like websites or animations in non-exam assessment tasks.

• Unit 3: Develop a marketing campaign using digital assets in another practical assessment.

You’ll engage in independent projects, team-based challenges, and structured lessons to prepare for assessments.

Do I need any equipment? 

To get the most out of this course, you’ll need:

• Access to a computer or laptop for creating digital products and practising skills.

• Software for spreadsheets, website development, and multimedia creation.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is split into three key components:

1. Unit 1: The Digital World (40%)

   • A 1.5-hour on-screen examination.

2. Unit 2: Digital Practices (40%)

   • Non-exam assessment requiring the creation of a digital product (e.g., website or animation).

3. Unit 3: Communicating in the Digital World (20%)

   • Non-exam assessment focused on creating and marketing digital assets.
