Beth fydda i’n ei ddysgu?
Mae busnesau adwerthu yn gweithredu mewn nifer o sianeli adwerthu gwahanol, o allfeydd i arcedau, siopa lleol i gatalogau a siopa ar-lein. Mae mathau a meintiau gwahanol o adwerthwyr, o siopau adrannol rhyngwladol mawr i adwerthwyr arbenigol bychain. Byddi di’n dysgu sut mae adwerthwyr yn dennu ac yn edrych ar ôl cwsmeriaid, ynghyd â chynnig gwasanaeth cwsmer da. Byddwn yn ymweld â chanolfannau siopa er mwyn astudio y busnesau mewn dyfnder. Byddi di’n cael y cyfle i archwilio gwahanol agweddau o’r maes adwerthu mewn nifer o gyd-destunau.
Sut fydda i’n dysgu?
Byddi di’n cael cyfle i ddysgu o fewn a thu hwnt i’r ystafell ddosbarth. Byddi di’n astudio busnesau adwerthu go iawn. Bydd ymweliadau â’r busnesau hyn yn rhan hanfodol o’r cwrs. Byddi di’n datblygu ystod o sgiliau ymarferol ac academaidd a fydd yn dy helpu i symud ymlaen i astudiaethau pellach. Bydd yr adnoddau ar gyfer Lefel 1/2 Dyfarniad Galwedigaethol Busnes Adwerthu i gyd ar gael yn y Google Classroom. Bydd gwaith cartref cyson er mwyn gwella dy ddealltwriaeth o’r pwnc ac i atgyfnerthu’r hyn a wneir yn y gwersi.

Sut fydda i’n cael fy asesu?
Uned 1 - Busnes yr Adwerthu (Arholiad Allanol)
Uned 2 - Gwasanaeth i gwsmeriaid ar gyfer busnes adwerthu (Aseiniad i’w gwblhau mewn gwersi)
Uned 3 - Marsiandïo a marchnata cynhyrchion adwerthu (Aseiniad i’w gwblhau mewn gwersi)
Beth yw’r cam nesaf ar ôl y cwrs hwn?
Gall y cymhwyster hwn, ynghyd â chymwysterau perthnasol eraill ar Lefel 2 fel TGAU Saesneg a Mathemateg, arwain at symud ymlaen at TAG Busnes a chymwysterau galwedigaethol eraill ar Lefel 3.

Byddi di wedi datblygu sgiliau sy’n dy alluogi i wneud penderfyniadau busnes, sydd felly’n dy baratoi ar gyfer gwaith rheoli o fewn busnesau adwerthu. Byddi di hefyd yn gallu ystyried gyrfa mewn cyfrifeg; hysbysebu, marchnata ac adnoddau dynol.

What will I learn?
You will learn about business and the business environment. You will study issues facing businesses and the type of important decisions that need to be made within a business. There will also be an opportunity to examine trends in markets including the job market. There is also an opportunity to study the impact of the environment and sustainability on businesses. You will also have the opportunity to create ideas for businesses e.g. marketing and advertising.
How will I learn?
The resources for the GCSE Business course will all be in your Google Classroom. You will also use your Chromebook to learn vocabulary and business terms, create marketing campaigns, research the local and national economy and create research resources such as questionnaires. There will be regular homework in order to improve the development and your understanding of this exciting subject.
Do I need any equipment?
You will not need special equipment, except for your units, your Business notebooks, and your Chromebook.
How will I be assessed?
Unit 1 Introduction to the Business World - Written Examination 1 hour 15 minutes [30% of the qualification]
Unit 2 Key Business Considerations - Assessed Coursework [15% of the qualification]
Unit 3 Business Strategies for Success - Written Examination 1 hour 15 minutes [30% of the qualification]
Unit 4 Business Creation - Assessed Coursework [25% of the qualification]
Units 1 and 3 are assessed through written exams which include short and extended answers with some based on business situations.
Unit 2 and 4 are non-exam assessments - you would receive an assignment brief and fixed time to complete it in the lessons.
What is the next step after this course?
The majority of pupils continue to the Sixth form to study A Level Business or other subjects.
Ideas for jobs ...
You will have developed skills that enable you to make business decisions, which therefore prepares you for management work within businesses and companies. You should also consider a career in accountancy; advertising, marketing and human resources.
