The Empathy Day Festival (running 4–11 June 2026) is a digital, nationwide event led by EmpathyLab UK that uses books and storytelling to help children and young people develop empathy.

What to expect?

Join the Link and Learn Session to celebrate The Empathy Day Festival with Huw Aaron and e-sgol for free.

Author and illustrator Huw Aaron will use his books to help children and young people learn about empathy.

The Session

• This resource is suitable for learners in both primary schools (Years 3 to 6) and secondary schools (Years 7 to 9).

• Separate Welsh Medium  and English Medium Sessions.

• The YouTube playlist with the recorded videos will be sent to you once registered.

• Session are available to watch at a time that suits you.

• The session will last around 15 minutes.

• These sessions are free!
