Teaching Arrays with the Microbit and Makecode Editor

This lesson can be used once the concept of variables have been taught. It is mostly aimed at Year 7. The lesson is created using the Makecode Editor however it can be extended to allow the download of the hex file to be used with a Microbit.

The presentation can be modified to work alongside creating arrays with Python as well as adding in differentiation and tasks that can stretch pupils.

The theme for the task can be chosen by pupils to encourage engagement.
