The face-to-face sessions will enable teachers to create a physical presence for the learners, build relationships, set expectations and teach the learners directly.
Face to face sessions will be scheduled early in September, and in most cases, will run every half term.
The dates for these face to face sessions will be finalised between e-sgol, the schools and the local authority, with a timetable of dates shared with each school.
*Due to the nature of some e-sgol courses, more face to face sessions may be arranged. This is done through negotiations between the relevant schools.*
*In cases when face to face sessions cannot be scheduled, the information will have to be communicated fully to the schools and relevant learners. At times like this, various strategies should be used to ensure fairness in teaching by making use of online 1 to 1 sessions etc.*
Learners' transport arrangements will be arranged by their usual schools.
