Tom Jones

Tom Jone’s birth name is Thomas John Woodward. He began singing at early age, at family gatherings, weddings and in the school choir. His father was a coal miner called Thomas Woodward (1910 – 1981) and his mother was called Freda Jones (1914-2003). At 12, he was diagnosed with tuberculosis, and spent “two years in bed recovering”.
