Curriculum Design 2 - AoLE Templates
Use the templates provided below to continue your high level planning, and record your responses to the asked questions in the Curriculum Design 2 Workshop. This task will support you to identify what your learners need to learn and why, as we move the shift from content to learning. There are 27 Statements of What Matters that are mandatory in Curriculum for Wales, and these are an essential part of a school's curriculum design. The learning identified in the Statements of What Matters is broad, which allows for progression and enables learners to make progress towards the four purposes.
A template is provided for each AoLE, along with examples of completed tables. It is important that these tables are tailored to your school's curriculum, context and learners.
Refer to your 'Four Purposes' tables from the Curriculum Design 1 Workshop, to support this planning process.
