School Messenger SPAM Filter

The following directions are for the web version of Google mail or GSuite mail.

1. Download the School Messenger filter named “mailFilters.xml” to your “Downloads” folder.

2. Open your Gmail account

3. Click on the “Settings” gear in the upper right pane of your inbox.

4. Click on “See all settings”.

5. Click on “Filters and Blocked Addresses”

6. Click on “Import filters”. A new section will appear below named “Import Filter”

7. Click on “Choose File”

8. Navigate to the “mailFilters.xml” file in your “Downloads” folder

9. Click “Openfile” You will see the new filter”

10. Click “CreateFilters” button

11. Done
