Instructions for printers
General Information
Chrome Secure Printing is a new form of printing that allows the user to print to any copier that they choose without having to select it in the print menu. It requires users to be at the copier to release the job for printing. A print job will stay in the que for 24 hours or until printed. You can print from home and pick up your print jobs the following morning.
Signing in:
Open a new tab.
Click on the “red box like icon” in the top right corner named “uniFLOW Online”.
Click on the blue “Sign In” button.
Click on the gray “Google” button.
A new tab will open and click on your “hvrhs or region1 account ”.
Open your “gmail inbox”.
Open the email sent by uniFLOW Online and click on the blue “Access uniFLOW Online”. Note that the email may take up to a minute to arrive in the inbox.
Printing:
Open the “print menu” on the page that you want to print.
Click on the drop down menu of the “Destination tab” and Select the “See More” button.
Scroll down and Select the “Chrome Secure Print”.
Configure your settings for the print job and click “Print”. Now your print job will be available to print at any copier in the building as well as in all region 1 schools.
Students
Go to a copier.
Select the “pin option.
Students PINs are the two digits from the year you graduate and the last 3 digits of your Student ID. Example: 27 001. You can find your Student ID in PowerSchool in the forms section under the general tab. Please see Cindy in the main office for your PowerSchool password.
Note that after 20 seconds of inactivity the copier will automatically sign out.
Once Logged in, Tap the “Secure Print” button and then Tap the “print job” in the list.
Tap the “Print and Delete” button which is in the lower left corner which will delete the job after it prints.
If any problems occur, call or visit the IT department.
Staff
Go to any copier.
Swipe your door access card over the reader to the right of the screen.
If you don't have your card on you, select the “pin option”. Your pin is the last three digits of your card number. Card numbers start with two zeros. A card with the number 00123 would be PIN 123.
Note that after 20 seconds of inactivity the copier will automatically sign out.
