HVK Systems Pvt. Ltd. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) built the PVC-NON-OBE mobile application (the “App”) as an industrial tool for checking and configuring PVC Proportional Valves via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights as a user. By using the App you agree to this policy.
The App requests access to the following device capabilities:
Bluetooth (BLE): The App scans for, connects to, and communicates with PVC Proportional Valve hardware units over Bluetooth Low Energy. Device names and BLE advertisement data of nearby devices are processed locally on your phone solely to establish the connection.
Location Permission (Android): Android requires the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION or BLUETOOTH_SCAN permission for BLE device scanning. The App does not collect, record, or transmit your GPS or physical location at any time.
Device Identifiers: Paired BLE device MAC addresses are stored locally on your device to remember previously connected hardware. This data is never sent to any server.
The App does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials. No user account or registration is required.
Information accessed by the App is used exclusively to:
Scan for and display nearby BLE devices.
Connect to and communicate with a PVC Proportional Valve controller.
Read valve parameters (pressure, position, flow, diagnostic codes) and display them on-screen.
Send configuration commands to the connected hardware device.
Remember the last connected device to streamline reconnection.
All data exchange occurs directly between the mobile device and the BLE hardware. No data is routed through, stored on, or processed by any external server or cloud service
All operational data (valve readings, device identifiers, session information) is stored exclusively on your mobile device using local app storage. The App does not use any remote database, cloud storage, or analytics backend. Data is retained only as long as the App is installed. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any data with third parties. The App does not integrate any advertising SDKs, analytics services, or crash-reporting platforms that transmit data off-device. We may disclose information only if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HVK Systems Pvt. Ltd. or its users
PVC-NON-OBE is an industrial application intended solely for use by trained engineers and technicians. It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has inadvertently provided personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Since all data resides locally on your device and no personal information is transmitted over the internet, the primary security boundary is your device's own lock screen and OS security model. We recommend keeping your Android device updated with the latest security patches. BLE communication with the valve hardware uses the pairing/bonding mechanism provided by the Android Bluetooth stack.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated Effective Date at the top of this document and, where required by applicable law, communicated to users through the Google Play Store listing. Continued use of the App after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
