CBMS Band

CBMS BAND OVERVIEW

CBMS provides beginner through 8th grade band instruction on flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba and percussion.

There is 5th grade beginner band, 6th grade band, 7/8 band, as well as optional jazz band. We present multiple concerts per year at CBMS as well as HUHS.

Students can also take extra private lessons with a group of incredible local music teachers.

About me

My name is Samantha Mishkin and this is my first year at CBMS. This is my 16th year teaching music and my 10th teaching band.

I am originally from Roxbury, VT and currently live in Moretown with my husband and two kids, who are 5 and 2. My main instrument is flute and I hold degrees in music education from BU and Gordon College.

I like to spend time with family, being outside as much as possible, camping and swimming in the summer and skiing at Mad River in the winter.
