Books are mirrors, windows, and sliding glass doors. ~Dr. Rudine Sims Bishop

Hello, I'm Dr. Nikki Robertson-Griffin

Hello. My name is Dr. Nikki D Robertson-Griffin. I received my Bachelor's in Secondary Education Social Sciences with Middle and Elementary School add-on certifications at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. I went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Library Media at Alabama State University in Montgomery, AL, an HBCU. I earned my Ph.D. from Grand Canyon University in Psychology with an emphasis in integrating technology, learning, and psychology.

I have a wonderful spouse, beautiful twin daughters, three adorable grandchildren, 2 dogs, and one cat. In my spare time, I like to travel, explore new educational technologies, and connect, share, learn, and grow with educators from around the world.

"Books are sometimes windows, offering views of worlds that may be real or imagined, familiar or strange. These windows are also sliding glass doors, and readers have only to walk through in imagination to become part of whatever world has been created or recreated by the author. When lighting conditions are just right, however, a window can also be a mirror. Literature transforms human experience and reflects it back to us, and in that reflection, we can see our own lives and experiences as part of a larger human experience." ~ Dr. Rudine Sims Bishop
