Information about Me
and the Mathematics I do
I am currently in the summer between my 3rd and 4th year as a PhD student in the mathematics at Northeastern University.
The math I frequent mostly involves categorical representation theory and diagrammatic calculus while making contact with highest weight categories, cellular algebras, quantum groups, crystals, braid groups, cactus groups, and more. At the moment, all of these ideas are instantiated for me in my work with KLRW algebras (coming from work of Khovanov, Lauda, Rouquier, and Webster) and an action of the braid group on the dervied category of modules over a KLRW algebra (by work of Webster). My advisor, Iva Halacheva, and I are studying the relationship between the previously mentioned braid group action and the action of the cactus group on a corresponding crystal structure on the isomorphism classes of simple modules over a KLRW algebra.
