During the course of the trimester, we will be reading a variety of genres including short stories, poetry, drama, and novels from district approved texts. We will be practicing our writing skills together by writing for multiple purposes and audiences. In addition, we will be reviewing the development of a thesis, word roots, grammar, and various writing techniques.
