LET'S BUILD OUR READING STAMINA!
As first graders your goal is to be able to read for 15 minutes without getting too tired or giving up. Each day this week you will track the amount of time that you read without being distracted. Remember readers with a good stamina do the following:
Read the whole time.
Stay in their comfy spot.
Enjoy their book.
Choose a book to read from home or visit Epic! and browse through their book collection. We recommend you read a book about friends or friendship.
Use this stamina chart to keep track of your reading stamina during your Independent Reading Time! You may also keep track on a blank sheet of paper.

When you travel abroad, you need to take your passport with you. Let's get ready for our adventures by taking our passport photo!
Follow these steps to take your picture:
Stand in a well lit area in front of a solid color background.
Take a picture of your upper body, chest and up.
Smile!
Submit your passport photo on Seesaw.

Today you will be adding more sentences about the things you enjoy to do with your friends. If you need to, rewatch how Sra. Nerio writes about what she enjoys doing with her friends.
Draw a picture of yourself with your friends and use the following sentence stems to tell what you enjoy doing with them:
