This week you have had the opportunity to enjoy several of your favorite books. Today you will recommend a book for someone else to read. A book recommendation lets people know a little bit about the story and help them determine if this is a book they would like to read.
Activity for Submission:
If you didn't get to do this yesterday, choose one of your favorite books from home or from your Epic! library and record a video of yourself explaining to your teacher why is it your favorite book. Make sure you share the following:
-Name of the book.
-Name of the author and illustrator.
-2 reasons why this is your favorite book.
*Keep using this rubric to reflect on your Independent Reading Time!
Watch the video and think about the following:
How many continents can be found on the globe?
Where can Europe be found on the globe?
Activity for Submission:
After watching the video "Know Your Globe" color and label Europe. If you can not print, draw the map to the best of your abilities on a sheet of paper to color and label Europe. You will submit your map today! You should have the previous continent we identified: America (North, South & Central), as well as Europe.
Your writer's journal will help you store the Spanish vocabulary you build throughout the year. This journal will also be used to express your thoughts and feelings.
Activity for Submission:
Watch Ms. Spence talk about the different things (hobbies) she enjoys to do. Notice she mentions several different things.
Think about all the hobbies you enjoy. Draw a picture, label it, and write at least 3 sentences about all the things you enjoy doing! Submit to your homeroom teacher!
