Happy Birthday!

We just want to wish the happiest of birthdays to our classmates!  We will be able to share treats that are individually packaged (I cannot open a two pack and split the treat.  Please to be sure they are individual! ) and bought from a store (Twinkies, hostess cupcakes etc.).  We will sing happy birthday to our friends!  Then, we will clap one clap for every year! 

The math activities that go along with our birthdays which is included into daily calendar activities are listed below...

• We will look at the birthday graph by month and practice reading it (i.e. How many birthdays does our class have in December? -or- Which month has more/less birthdays June or July?  How many more?/How many less?)

•  We will also have a fluid/changing graph (besides the monthly one below) that we change by birthday to show how many 4, 5 and 6 year old classmates are in room 103.
