Whether people realize it or not, each day they connect with others from all over the world by listening to music. The same songs and tunes are listened to by millions each day and are a key component in people's everyday lives. Once a year, America celebrates the people who put their hearts and souls into making music. The Grammys is an event that showcases a variety of talent and awards to those who have helped make a difference not only in the music industry, but all over the world. This year The 2024 Grammys had many moments that are worth highlighting.
Before the show even begins, celebrities line up and show off their fashion on the red carpet. With looks ranging from full length ball gowns, to very minimalistic outfits, this year the music artists really made sure to lay it all out on the walkway. Women such as Kelly Clarkson, Madison Beer, and Taylor Swift all showed off beautiful white ball gowns that helped to uplift all of their features. Contrary to this, folks like Miley Cyrus, Doja Cat and Paris Hilton, went for a more modern look with different types of translucent and ultra fine pieces. Some notable and standout looks would include Summer Walker with a matching feathered white dress and sunhat, along with Ed Sheeran who just showed up in a matching Camo pantsuit. No matter what outfits these celebrities featured, the red carpet is always a thrilling way to captivate people and get them ready for the award ceremony.
Moving inside of the event, celebrities and musicians get ready for a night filled with many special awards and performances. Opening the ceremony was Dua Lipa who performed a mash up of a few of her songs including, “Dance the Night” from the new hit movie Barbie. Her performance was backed by many dancers, different light spectacles and even a metal like jungle gym contraption. Following her, artists such as Olivia Rodgrigo and Miley Cyrus took the stage. The awards are definitely the most notable part of the night, with people eager to be able to receive a golden record trophy.
